Tim Prasil wrote "The Magic of the Movies," "The Crasher," "Thinking in Ternary," and the entire run of Marvellous Boxes stories. He lives in Oklahoma, where he teaches English. He is currently developing a series character named Vera Van Slyke, an early 20th-century occult detective. Her adventures are likely to appear as short stories, audio and stage drama, and eventually novels.

Tim also wrote some of the music used in the Decoder Ring Theatre shows he wrote.
